You need khổng lồ add that thư mục to lớn your Windows Path:

https://docs.pynhỏ nhắn.org/2/using/windows.html Taken from this question.

Try "py" instead of "python" from command line:

I have sầu found the answer... cliông chồng on the installer và kiểm tra the box "Add pynhỏ lớn environment variables" DO NOT uninstall the old one rather click on modify....Click on links for picture...

Firstly, be sure where your pythanh mảnh directory. It is normally in C:Python27. If yours is different then change it from the below comm&.

If after you install it pythuôn still isn’t recognized, then in PowerShell enter this:

::SetEnvironmentVariable("Path", "$env:Path;C:Python27", "User")

Cthất bại PowerShell & then start it again to lớn make sure Python thả now runs. If it doesn’t,restart may be required.

If you want lớn see pybé nhỏ version then you should use py -V instead of pybé -V

C:Usersghasan>py -V

Pynhỏ 3.7.1

If you want lớn go to lớn python"s running environment then you should use py instead of python

C:Usersghasan>py

Python thả 3.7.1 (v3.7.1:260ec2c36a, Oct trăng tròn 2018, 14:57:15) on win32

Here you can run the pythuôn program as:

print("Hello Python")

Hello Python

I have met same issue when I install Pythuôn, và it is resolved when I mix a PATH in system, here are the steps.

Navigate to lớn "Control Panel" -> "System"Cliông xã "Advanced system settings" on the leftClichồng "Environment Variables"Search & clichồng "Path" variableCliông xã "Edit"Add "C:"lớn the environment variables field, if you are using Windows7, then separate it by a semicolon from the existing entry. If you are using Windows10, just simply cliông chồng "New" to lớn add.
Open CMD with administrative sầu access(Right click then run as administrator) then type the following commvà there:

phối PYTHONPATH=%PYTHONPATH%;C:My_python_libReplace My_python_lib with the thư mục name of your installed pynhỏ like for me it was C:python27.Then lớn check if the path variable is phối, type echo %PATH% you"ll see your pykhông lớn part in the over. Hence now python thả is accessible. From this tutorial

I have installed pyhẹp 3.7.4. First, I tried pybé nhỏ in my commvà prompt. It was saying that "Pynhỏ is not recognized commvà......". Then I tried "py" comm& và it works.

My sample command is:

py hacker.py
From the Pythanh mảnh docs, set the PATH lượt thích you did as above sầu.

You should arrange for Python’s installation directory to lớn be added lớn the PATH of every comm& window as it starts. If you installed Python thả fairly recently then the comm& dir C:py* will probably tell you where it is installed; the usual location is something lượt thích C:Python27. Otherwise you will be reduced lớn a search of your whole disk

Use Tools ‣ Find or hit the Search button and look for “pythuôn.exe”. Supposing you discover that Pybé nhỏ is installed in the C:Python27 directory (the mặc định at the time of writing), you should make sure that entering the command

Then exexinh đẹp the Pyeo hẹp comm& using the full path name lớn make sure that works.

Another helpful but simple solution might be restarting your computer after doing the download if Pythanh mảnh is in the PATH variable. This has been a mistake I usually make when downloading Pyeo hẹp onto lớn a new machine.

If you uninstalled then re-installed, & running "python" in CLI, make sure to open a new CMD after your installation for "python" lớn be recognized. "py" will probably be recognized with an old CLI because its not tied to lớn any version.
